【摘要】:1.1Thistestmethodcoversthesampling/analysisofnicotineand3-ethenylpyridine(3-EP)inindoorair.Thistestmethodisbaseduponthecollectionofnicotineand3-EPbyadsorptiononasorbentresin,extractionofnicotineand3-EPfromthesorbentresin,anddeterminationbygaschromatography(GC)withnitrogenselectivedetection.(1)1.2TheactivesamplersconsistofanXAD-4sorbenttubeattachedtoasamplingpump.Thistestmethodisapplicabletopersonalorareasampling.1.3ThistestmethodislimitedinsampledurationbythecapacityoftheXAD-4tubefornicotine(about300g).Thistestmethodhasbeenevaluatedupto24-hsampleduration;however,samplesaretypicallyacquiredforatleast1h(sometimesonly1h).(2)1.4Forthistestmethod,limitsofdetection(LOD)andquantitation(LOQ)fornicotineatasamplingrateof1.5L/minare,respectively,0.11g/m3and0.37g/m3for1-hsampledurationand0.01g/m3and0.05g/m3for8-hsampleduration.TheLODandLOQfor3-EPatasamplingrateof1.5L/minare,respectively,0.06g/m3and0.19g/m3for1-hsampledurationand0.01g/m3and0.02g/m3for8-hsampleduration(2).BothLODandLOQcanbereducedbyincreasingthesensitivityofthethermionicspecificdetector.1.5ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Specificprecautionaryinformationisgivenin13.6.
