【摘要】:ThispartofISOIIEC8882definesanabstracttestsuitefortestingtheconformanceoftheDataLinkLayerofanIUTwithrespecttoISOllEC7776(1986,1995)ortheITU-TRecommendationX.25(1980,1984,1988,1993).ConformanceofaDataTerminalEquipment(DTE)totheaboveIS0InternationalStandardorITU-TRecommendationsistestedusingadedicatedcircuitbetweenthetesterandtheDTE.ItisnotedthatITU-TRecommendationsX.25(1980),X.25(1984),X.25(1988)andX.25(1993)arewrittenfromtheperspectiveofaDCEandthereforedonotahvaysexplicitlyspecifytheDTEsoperation.InsuchcasesitisassumedthatrecommendedoperationofaDTEisincludedbyimplicationbecauseoftheneedtocommunicatewithX.25DCEs.ThispartofISOIIEC8882excludesthetestingoftheLAPproceduresgivenintheITU-TRecommendations.NOTETestcasesforextendedmodeoperation(Modulo128),rnultilinkprocedureandDTE-DTEoperationasperISOIIEC7776areforfurtherstudy.IntherestofthispartofISOIIEC8882,theterm"X.25standards"meansallfourofITU-TRecommendationsX.25(1980),X.25(1984),X.25(1988),X.25(1993),andInternationalStandardsISOIIEC7776(1995)andISOIIEC7776(1986),unlessstatedotherwise.
