【摘要】:Thisdocumentdefinesafiber-to-the-homesystemoptimizedforcompatibilitywithhybridfiber-coax(HFC)plant,usingthesameendequipmentatboththehomeandattheheadendorhub.TheRFoGsystemisdefinedtobeginwheretheplantbecomespassive,extendingfromthatpointtothehome.ThisinterfaceisreferredtoastheOpticalHub.Therearemanypossiblevariationsonthestructureoftheopticalhub,dependingontheneedsofthesystem.TheRFoGsystemisdefinedtoterminateatthesubscriber-sideinterfaceofanRFoGOpticalNetworkUnit(R-ONU)atthehome.
