【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandarddescribestheRadioDataSystem,RDS,intendedforapplicationtoVHF/FMsoundbroadcastsintherange87,5MHzto108,0MHzwhichmaycarryeitherstereophonic(pilot-tonesystem)ormonophonicprogrammes(seeclause2–NormativereferencesITU-RRecommendationsBS450-3andBS643-2).ThemainobjectivesofRDSaretoenableimprovedfunctionalityforFMreceiversandtomakethemmoreuser-friendlybyusingfeaturessuchasProgrammeIdentification,ProgrammeServicenamedisplayandwhereapplicable,automatictuningforportableandcarradios,inparticular.Therelevantbasictuningandswitchinginformationthereforehastobeimplementedbythetype0group(see6.1.5.1),anditisnotoptionalunlikemanyoftheotherpossiblefeaturesinRDS.
